안전관리책임자 경력 맞춤형 온라인 교육 실시
- 의약품안전관리원, 11월 기본‧심화과정 총 3회 실시 -
□ 한국의약품안전관리원(원장 한순영)은 11월부터 3회에 걸쳐 의약품 안전관리책임자 교육을 온라인으로 실시한다고 밝혔다.※교육일정: (기본과정) 11.5.~11.6., 11.26.~11.27., (심화과정) 12.10.~12.11.
ㅇ 안전관리책임자 교육은 약사법 제37조의3에 따라 지정된 의사･약사 또는 한약사가 2년 마다 16시간 이상 이수해야 하는 의무교육으로 그간 집합교육으로 진행해왔으나, 코로나19 확산 예방과 교육수강자의 안전을 고려하여 비대면 실시간 온라인 교육으로 진행한다.
□ 2020년 안전관리책임자 교육은 모든 교육생이 화상으로 참여하여 온라인 교육의 실효성을 높이고 질의응답 등 현장감 있는 실시간 소통을 강화할 예정이다. 또한 업무경력 차이에 따른 다양한 요구를 충족하기 위해 기본과정과 심화과정으로 교육과정을 구성하였다.
ㅇ 기본과정은 신규 안전관리책임자의 실무이해 및 의약품 안전관리 관련 법령/업무소개 ▲약물감시의 필요성 및 안전관리책임자의 역할 ▲안전관리책임자 표준 업무기준 ▲의약품 위해성 관리 계획 이해 등이다.
ㅇ 심화과정은 3년 이상의 업무경력을 갖춘 안전관리책임자의 실무적용을 고려하여 특화주제 및 실무경험 공유 등에 중점을 두어 ▲안전성 정보 관리 및 분석·보고 ▲안전성 정보 교환 계약(SDEA) ▲MedDRA(국제의약용어) 외에도 최신 동향 소개 과목인 ▲RWD(Real-World Data)의 이해를 신규 편성하였다.
□ 한순영 원장은 “언택트(Un-tact) 시대에도 불구하고 온택트(On-tact) 약물감시를 유지하는 데는 안전관리책임자의 노고가 크다”며 “교육생의 편의를 고려한 온라인 교육 환경 구축에 더 많은 노력을 기울일 것”이라고 전했다.

KIDS to Offer Pharmacovigilance Virtual Training - Training customized based on participants’ level of experience, registration open until November -
The Korea Institute of Drug Safety & Risk Management (hereafter KIDS, President Soonyoung Han) will hold a virtual pharmacovigilance training for safety control managers, three times in November.
※Training dates: (Basic) Nov 5~6, Nov 26~27, (Advanced) Dec 10~11.
Safety control managers registered under the Pharmaceutical Affairs Act must complete 16 hours of pharmacovigilance training every two years. Even though the previous training sessions were all held offline, this year’s training will be held online in a live, real-time manner to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and ensure the safety of participants.
The training will be conducted through a video conference, which will enhance the effectiveness of the online training and facilitate real-time communication between the participants during Q&A sessions etc. Furthermore, to meet the needs of participants with various levels of career experience, KIDS will offer both basic and advanced courses.
The basic course can be attended by newly registered safety control managers. This course plans to enhance the understanding of the field practices, roles relevant to safety management and the related laws. Topics include the need of pharmacovigilance and the roles of safety control managers; standards of safety control managers’ tasks; and understanding risk management plans etc.
The advanced course will be offered to safety control managers with three or more years of experience. With considerations on the practicality of the training, the sessions will focus on delivering specialized topics and sharing field experiences. Topics include management, analysis, and reporting of safety information; Safety Data Exchange Agreement(SDEA); and Medical Dictionary for Regulatory Activities (MedDRA). Also, to introduce recent trends in pharmacovigilance, a topic on Real-World Data (RWD) was newly added.
KIDS President, Dr. Han has said “We thank all the safety control managers for maintaining 'on-tact' pharmacovigilance activities in an un-tact era. We will put more efforts to set an online, training environment that will enhance the convenience of all training participants.”
